NXORAPrivacy & your data

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 8, 2026 · Last updated: September 8, 2026

This policy explains how Nxora (operated under the Nxora Labs brand, referred to as "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you use our app, website and connected services.

Features vary by platform, app version and enabled modules. Information processed depends on the features you use and permissions you grant. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@nxoralabs.com.

1. Information we handle and why

Account and profile

We process your phone number, account identifier, verification status, profile name, optional email, bio, profile photo, cover image, language and preferences to support sign-in, account recovery, identification and settings. Verification providers process your destination phone number and delivery or call status to deliver and validate verification requests.

Contacts and connections

With permission, Nxora reads contact names and phone numbers on your device to display familiar names, match contacts and distinguish saved contacts from other messages. Contact names and number matches are cached locally. Numbers you select or use for contact discovery, chat or invitations may be sent to our service to find corresponding Nxora accounts. Friend relationships and blocking preferences support communication and privacy controls.

Messages, calls and meetings

We process messages, voice notes, attachments, polls and responses, participants, delivery and read information, call history and duration, meeting details, invitations and meeting chat. Microphone and camera data are processed when you use audio, video or recording features. Screen content is shared when you start screen sharing. Media transport and relay services process connection information needed to connect participants. Recipients receive the content you share. We do not describe all Nxora communications as end-to-end encrypted.

Moments, stories and live streams

We process uploaded images and videos, captions, thumbnails, hashtags, optional location tags, audience settings, comments, likes, view activity and other interactions. Content may be visible to other users or publicly through shared links according to your audience settings. Location-enabled live discovery can display your stream in the selected map area.

Games

Enabled games may process player identifiers, scores, achievements, match history, lobby participation, invitations and multiplayer chat. Leaderboards and public rooms can display player profiles and results.

Ride Booking and Shared Trips

These modules process pickup and destination details, coordinates, saved places, routes, bookings, seats, fares, ratings, messages and payment status. Drivers or trip creators may supply vehicle information, contact details and identity, driving or vehicle documents for registration and review. Necessary trip details are shared with the passenger or driver involved. Documents support registration, review, safety and dispute handling. If online payments are offered, the selected provider processes information required for the transaction.

Device and service information

We process device and app information, push-notification tokens, IP addresses, connection status, request timestamps, service logs and errors to deliver notifications, maintain sessions, troubleshoot failures and protect against misuse. Support requests and reports include information you provide.

2. Permissions and choices

You can refuse or revoke permissions in device settings; affected features may become unavailable. Nxora provides supported privacy controls for profile visibility, online status, read receipts, blocked contacts and content audiences. Offline privacy changes affecting other users take effect after reaching the server. Disappearing-message or screenshot controls cannot guarantee another participant has not saved or copied content.

3. When information is shared

Information is shared with the people you communicate with, invite, play with or travel with, and the audience you choose for published content. Users may independently save, forward or share information they receive.

Providers process information required for their services, including Twilio for phone verification, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and applicable platform push services for notifications, hosting and file-storage providers, and media connection/relay services. Map search or map-tile providers, including configured OpenStreetMap-based services, may receive search terms, coordinates, IP addresses and related requests. External sharing sends selected content to the app you choose.

Authorized service operators may process information for support, moderation, registration reviews and abuse prevention. Relevant information may be disclosed where required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect users and the service. If operation of Nxora transfers to another organization, information may transfer with the service subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Provider privacy information: Twilio, Firebase and OpenStreetMap Foundation.

4. Storage, security and retention

Nxora caches account information, settings, contacts, messages, module data, media and pending actions on your device for faster loading and offline use. Queued actions and uploads are sent when connectivity returns and synchronization is enabled. Authentication credentials use platform secure storage where supported. Web clients may use browser storage for sessions, preferences and cached content.

Media caches use limits and cleanup rules. Drafts and pending uploads may be retained separately to prevent loss during ordinary cleanup. Available cache controls in Settings remove cached content; this does not delete server copies or copies held by other users.

We use HTTPS connections, authentication and access controls. No transmission or storage method guarantees absolute security. Protect your device, account access and exported backups. Backups you export or transfer remain under your control and may contain private messages or attachments.

Records are retained as needed to provide the features you use, fulfill requests and address security, abuse, disputes or legal obligations. Retention varies by data type; there is no single deletion period for every record. Caches, logs and backups may follow separate cleanup cycles. Other users' copies, exports or shared posts may remain after your account or original content is deleted.

5. Your rights and account deletion

You can edit supported profile fields and privacy settings in the app. To request account deletion, open Settings / Profile → Delete account and confirm. Uninstalling Nxora alone does not delete your account.

To request deletion without installing the app, email info@nxoralabs.com with the subject Nxora account deletion request and identify the phone number associated with your account. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or identity documents in your initial email. We may need to verify ownership before acting.

The request covers your account and associated personal information, subject to information retained for applicable legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, disputes or transactions. We will explain applicable exceptions when handling your request. Deletion does not recall copies saved independently by other users.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights or ask about a specific record.

6. International processing

Hosting and service providers may process information outside your country. Privacy protections and legal requirements vary by location. Contact us for information about handling your data or applicable transfer protections.

7. Children

Nxora is not intended for children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their country. If you believe a child below the applicable age has supplied personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

8. Policy changes

We may update this policy as features or data practices change. Updates appear at this URL with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel where required.
